These are disgusting revelations -- thank you for the hard work. We always knew the teachers' union(s) leaned left, and increasingly so over time, but now it is clear: they are mis-using teachers' hard-earned union dues to effect political action.
Almost as if I knew this moment was coming, your wish is (partly) my command. Would love to write something with my campaign manager, who then ran for mayor of this small town, at some point soon though!
And suddenly, the hard left turn that my small town made makes sense. Housing a University known for Education degrees, the socialists and marxists came running, and then they stayed.
The more I research the unions, the more I realize that there is still quite a lot of surface we have not begun to scratch. It is worse, so much worse than even we were able to show in 15 DAYS.
As one of a few candidates who ran for school board in 2021 here, with an incredible team of parents desperate to get our kids back to normal (joke was on us, normal wasn't coming back), we saw and experienced first hard the insanity driven by the unions. From articles in major newspapers to defame us to cartoon drawings on telephone poles throughout town mocking us, to people smearing faces behind us while speaking, the illusion of their benefit quickly evaporated.
I am sorry you had to go through that. Would you like to write about it for our substack? Personal testimonials are so powerful and I fear parents still do not understand who is shaping their children's minds.
Sunrise Movement is Pierre Omidyar, and was behind AOC and the Green New Deal; also, they were behind stopping the documentary, Planet of the Humans, which exposes the absolute scam of the green energy industry, from being shown in theaters. The Rockefeller Fdn works with Sunrise, in climate policy, and worked with them to stop the showing of The Planet of the Humans in theaters. Here are two good articles: And yes, climate stuff overlaps with DSA. DSA includes in its platform "Degrowth." From what I can see, the DSA is the U.S. version of the Club of Rome's Green Party. Both align 100% with Agenda 2030.
