Generational culture shock has caught up with me this afternoon.

She is a poster child for myofunctional therapy. I have never seen such a bad adult tongue tie. If children depend on you, I have a post on it,

Have you noticed how the educational and medical systems have normalized facial deformities that lead to problems with breathing and speaking? Instead of nutritional intervention and physical therapy for the jaw, they have the kids doing various behavioral therapies with medication.

I can’t help but wonder how this type of political influence plays out in broader ways with other entitities. We know that Blackrock, Vanguard and State Street control huge portions of the stock market- do they send letters to corporate CEOs to advance this or that agenda or, perhaps, their directions are more subtle? Even though I am not a fan of the education unions choices, I think it’s important to recognize their economic power still pales to many others that remain in the shadows.

This is infuriating to say the least. Thank you for sharing these behind the scenes details. Homeschooling really seems like the way to starve the union!

Yes, that is one part of it, the other is that the home must become ground zero for transmitting values, wisdom and education to our children. We cannot outsource those things we must do ourselves. And this will force parents to ask ourselves tough questions, and challenge ourselves to identify our family values. We must also regain confidence that, as parents we know best and love our children best. There are no experts in the world who can give a child what he/she needs than the child's parents. This must be firmly held in order to be effective.
