Look at the girl on the left. Her name is Ellen Page. She is smiling. She looks happy and at ease.
Now look at the person on the right. She goes by Elliot. She is on the cover of New York Magazine’s first Men’s Style issue. She has had her breast removed and is on cross-sex hormones. She looks unhappy and morose to me.
The magazine holds her up as a role model for masculinity. It tells every reader to ignore their own eyes and intuition.
But this person is not a man.
She never will be.
How Ellen got here
Ellen came out as a lesbian in 2014 at a Human Rights Campaign conference. In 2015, HRC gave her its Vanguard Award. She became an activist for nearly every cause on the left, from abortion rights to the Palestine boycott pledge.
Last week, Elliot Page joined a Jewish Voice for Peace sit-in outside the UN and blocked the road. More than 100 people were arrested.
HRC is at the center of the fight over transitioning children. It applauds government actions that support affirming children who say they are trans. HRC groomed her.
Then the politicians joined in.
In June 2023, at a White House press conference, President Biden said that when it comes to these children, they are all our kids.
But this is untrue.
Your child is yours.
The erasure

The girl in the left photo has disappeared.
We all become complicit if we go along with these lies. Our children become complicit too, if we do not tell them the truth.
A story about a play date
My friend P has a daughter. About five years ago, when the girl was a kindergartener, she went on a play date.
The daughter came home and told her mother that the other girl seemed different. The other girl had boyish interests. The child threw and bashed Barbie dolls.
P’s daughter was disturbed by what she saw.
P wanted to be politically correct. She told her daughter that of course this was a normal girl doing normal girl things. She told her to think nothing more of it.
But here’s the thing— P and I, and several other parents at the school, knew the truth.
This child was a boy.
When he was about two years old, his parents gave him a girl’s name and grew his hair long. They presented him as a girl in class.
I told P that her response to her daughter was a big problem. Her daughter had seen something true. The child reported it honestly. But her mother told her it was nothing.
How does that child trust herself (or her mother) after that? She learned that the lie is the truth and the truth is the lie. She learned that her own eyes and intuition cannot be relied on.
My friend told her daughter the difficult truth eventually (she is an excellent mom and was trying to do the best she could with very little support in this impossible situation).
We must not lie like this to our kids, even when it is difficult, especially when it’s difficult.
What I ask of you
Show your children these two photos. Show them the smiling girl and the person on the NY Magazine cover. Even if your child is young, show them, talk about it in age appropriate ways, now.
Ask what they see. Tell them what you see.
Tell them that a girl cannot become a boy and a woman cannot become a man. Tell them a boy cannot become a girl and a man cannot become a woman.
Do not leave this to the activists.
Their story will not be the one you want your child to hear. I guarantee it.
Take the oath
Say it to yourself. Then say it to your children.
I will tell you the truth, even when it is hard. The lies will be harder. I will never teach you to ignore what you know.
Where to start
If your child asks a question you cannot answer, start with our original Gender Toolkit. We are updating it and will release the new version soon.
No one is coming to save our kids but us.

You are so right! Even though no one wants to talk to children about this nightmare, you have to or someone else will. What a sad testament to where we are as a society.
At least they didn’t edit the scars out.
